Three million Canadians have asthma. Sixty per cent of them do not have optimal control of their disease. Most of them are not even aware that they are putting their health - and possibly even their lives - at risk by not managing their asthma properly. This is in spite of effective new medications and an ever-growing collection of crucial information based on the latest research.

The Asthma Society of Canada provides programs that raise the awareness of Canadians to this fact, and that develops and provides programs to teach Canadians about their disease and how to manage it most effectively.

We offer our programs completely free of charge. In order to do this, we rely on the generosity of our donors. The Society receives no government funding. All donations come from companies, private foundations and individuals like you.
